I was born in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) and grew up during a time of civil war, which gave me a character structure both severe and fluid (a rather contradictory status).   I wrote my PhD using a structural framework I was developing.  Elements of the theory are derived from Nietzsche, Bataille and Marechera's lifestyle:  I call it intellectual shamanism.
