In the world of mammals, we are the ones with thumbs, and
THIS horse shite is what we did with them? Ha! It's not even
    useful in the garden!

It's interesting tho', innit, how the thumb, which gave us a whole
new level of dexterity and ability... is being used as a symbol for
the most perverse and putrid system of communication possible.

And on it goes, thumbs up and thumbs down, world without end, amen.
hahaha. It's an issue of communication. This is a very modern form, involving traits of anonymity (cowardice), intellectual incoherence and emotional reflex. I think of these traits as features of the bourgeois revolution, which is always instinctively against any higher minded order. Never underestimate the revolutionary component of the contemporary order.
In terms of modern psychology and modern educational principles, we are taught to see these sorts of responses as naive, and harmless. They are not. They are extremely potent in upturning self-consistent values. The children get to dominate the adults. This is not harmless.

Your canine companion sounds like he will be beautiful,
intelligent and loyal. Congratulations! Your observations
as expressed in this video, were very helpful. As always,
thank you. LOL "She wants to dance with wolves". =D
In answer to your question, "Do you think we can
pull together?"... I will borrow from the Spanish language
to express my thoughts on that, "¡Ojalá que no!"
or I may be a woman who runs with wolves. https://www.booktopia.com.au/women-who-run-with-the-wolves-clarissa-pinkola-estes/
As for your Spanish -- yes, there is always a further layer of black humor to the situation. So long as I don't join in, I win. It's when I am made to question myself that I suffer from modernity's logic -- its astonishing mediocrity.

An interesting aside. After a lifetime of living completely perplexed
by what humans around me were talking about and doing, I was
recently diagnosed as having autism. I have trouble locating people
by their faces, and facial expressions are often completely opaque
to me-- they make no sense at all, or, the sense the facial expressions
make, don't match the words or the tones of voice. I've realized from
this video that this feeling of profound revulsion is part of what I relate
to, in your videos. The Western World doesn't make sense to me,
perhaps for completely other reasons than yours, but I definitely
relate to the horror and exasperation of trying to exist in a world where
the dominant paradigm is this strange neo-liberal duplicity. It's not
so much that I want to be part of it, because I don't... but even figuring
out how to navigate within it, has been a vast and exhausting
excercise in futility for me. I think Marechera is a sort of
patron saint of people stuck in this culture of maddening perversity.
Yes, yes. Part of the syndrome of this modernity is that there are plenty of anonymous or semi-anonymous entities that will attempt to exert force on me not to feel revulsion. You are right on all points about the issue here, including with Marechera. I now diagnose my own failure as an incapacity to hate, which made me go into the fray again and again. I did not honor myself in that I paid so little attention to my deep hatred.
But, with enough downvoting of my point of view, my hatred will turn to love, and I will embrace everything foul and putrid.
